You can transfer funds through one of the methods below:

1. Contact
2. Ang Bao
3. Bank Account
4. Scan to Send (QR Scan)

NOTE : Please do not make P2P transfers as a payment method for third parties. This practice is not permitted and may cause issues with your transactions. To ensure your transactions are secure and protected, always purchase orders through the app and use the designated payment methods available on the platform.

Method 1 : Contact

On Shopee App > Select Me tab > Select ShopeePay > Select Transfer > Fill in mobile number/username > Select suggestion > Enter the transfer amount and Description (optional) > Select Virtual Card (optional) > Select Next > Select OK > Select Transfer Now > Enter ShopeePay PIN number or Face ID.

Method 2 : Ang Bao

On Shopee App > Select Me tab > Select ShopeePay > Select Transfer > Send Ang Bao > Select preferred Ang Bao distribution method (Random/Fixed Amount) > Enter Amount and Number of Recipients > Fill in description and select Ang Bao design (optional) > Select Next > Confirm transaction by clicking Next > Enter ShopeePay PIN number or Face ID.

⚠️Note

• Please take note that Ang Bao will expire within 24 hours.
• Any unclaimed amount will be returned to the Ang Bao creator once Ang Bao expires.

Method 3: Bank Account

On Shopee App > Select Me tab > Select ShopeePay > Select Transfer > Select Send to Bank Account > Input the details > Select Next > Enter the transfer amount and input transfer purpose > Next >  Select Transfer Now > Enter ShopeePay PIN or Face ID.

Method 4 : Scan to Send (QR Scan)

On Shopee App > Select Me tab > Select ShopeePay > Select Transfer > Select Scan to Send > Scan your contact’s ShopeePay QR code or upload a ShopeePay QR image that they have shared > Enter the transfer amount and input transfer purpose > Next >  Select Transfer Now > Enter ShopeePay PIN or Face ID.

ShopeePay QR code can be found from Shopee App > Me > ShopeePay > Request.

⚠️Note

• If you fill in a mobile number not linked to a ShopeePay account, the recipient has to confirm your transfer for it to be processed. If no confirmation is received within 24 hours, the funds will be refunded to you.
• Transfers cannot be undone unless you personally request for the funds from the recipient.
• Grant contact list access to the Shopee App to find Shopee-user contacts easily on the ShopeePay transfer page.

• Upload an image of your shared QR code

Select Request > show it to your contact for scanning

Method 2 : Upload QR code

Select Request > Select Share > select your preferred option for sharing your QR code 

Terms

• Your ShopeePay account needs to be activated before you can transfer funds via ShopeePay.
• You can transfer using funds from your Transferable Balance, which includes top-ups from local Debit cards, PayNow, eGiro, Transfers, Angbao received from other ShopeePay users, and Refunds for previously made payments that were paid by payment channels other than ShopeePay wallet.
